A new compact wastewater treatment system for a wider range of business

A compact version of Water Maze CoAg coagulation wastewater treatment system is being introduced to bring the benefits of new generation treatment technology to a wider range of industrial businesses.

The Compact CoAg system is designed for businesses that wish to cost-efficiently preserve their environment through water treatment and recycling while avoiding hefty disposal costs for untreated water.

“Compact CoAg is a simple, economical, low maintenance of a small footprint chemical treatment system. It was designed to treat industrial wastewater and effectively remove suspended solids, emulsified oils and metals from waste streams”, says Enware Environmental Product Manager Mr Scott Whittaker.

In-line mixing tubes are used to enhance the chemical reactions and treat contaminants, delivering a highly efficient chemical process with optimized mixing. After coagulant has been added, flocculant is injected to quickly clump the coagulated contaminants for removal. An Index Polishing Filter (IPF2-20) is used for solids removal.

“Correct installation and operation of the system will produce treated water that can be recycled or safely discharged to sewer,” said Mr Whittaker.

The Compact CoAg system can be used as:

• A primary treatment system for lower volume, limited budget applications
• A pre-treatment or post-treatment module for an existing tank, clarifier, oil-skimmer or other system
