EC System - Industrial Wastewater Treatment
The EC2-20A is an easy to use treat and discharge system. It is also easy to install and maintain. The highly efficient compact design has a small footprint and features a one-button control as well as a PLC control system to automatically fill and purge each tank.
The EC2-20A integrates electro-coagulation (an electrolytic process where DC electrical current passes through an electrolytic cell to neutralise the negative charges on the particles) and chemical flocculation to speed up the process of removing suspended solids, emulsified oils and heavy metals, all of which are a challenge for most water treatment systems.
The unique, electrolytic cell design features a stationary cartridge housing and a series of cathodes and anodes. These automatically coagulate the wastewater flow, resulting in solids and oils adhering together. Then, to speed up the particle agglomeration process under the van der Waal’s forces, the EC system injects polymer.
