Caredesign's height-adjustable lift mechanisms enhance safety and dignity around kitchens, worktops and cupboards

Caredesign, a specialist division of Enware Australia Pty Ltd, has launched a range of height-adjustable lift mechanisms for worktops, kitchens and wall cupboards.
The range is available as a wall-mounted or freestanding system with a choice of either an electrical operation for daily use or manual operation for occasional use.
The products are designed to assist in providing greater adaptability and flexibility within the home and working environment, whilst “future-proofing” residential and commercial facilities.
“Acknowledging we are all different with varying abilities that continue to change as we journey through life, Caredesign deliver innovative solutions to meet the ever changing needs for users, carers and facility planners whilst providing independence, dignity, comfort and safety,” says Mr Franken.
The range can be used in such areas as home modifications for kitchens or worktops in individual homes, where self-reliant users have to be able to work either with or without helpers.
The lifting mechanisms are also applicable to education facilities, for applications including school science labs and technical or university training facilities. They also suit kitchens in child care facilities, where both teachers and children engage in food or work preparation, and hospitals, where they can be used for rehabilitation wards for assessment or training, as well as nurse stations.
The lift mechanisms suit most standard kitchen components or work environments and can be installed with a new design or when retrofitting an existing kitchen or work area.
