Stylish Scandinavian IFO wash basins from Enware Australia are made of vitreous china, an attractive, environmentally friendly and durable natural material. They offer hygienic and environmentally harmonious solutions for bathrooms ranging from compact to large.

The single and double bowl and special purpose basins are part of the clean, elegant, functional and timeless IFO ranges of fixtures and fittings for which Enware has been appointed master distributor in Australia and New Zealand.

The internationally renowned IFO range of bathroom products - also including WC options, urinals and baths – is architect-designed for health care, age care, disability and commercial and domestic applications, says Claus Oustrup, Business Development Manager for IFO Enware.

The product of Danish architect Knud Holscher, the first principle of the expanding IFO range is to ensure that each product is adaptable, works to perfection and will continue to do so. The ranges are renewed on a consistent basis, while the design footprint remains consistent to deliver value and longevity in new, renovation and replacement projects.

Designed to harmonise the needs of hygiene with aesthetics of enduring simplicity and beauty, the Cera and Sign ranges of single and double basins feature double glaze (IFO Clean) for extra infection control, with fully glazed under and over surfaces reducing risk of bacteria growth.

IFO’s Sign 770 basins also have a shelf area to meet new requirements relating to access for people with a disability, while hospital and health models are available for specialist applications

Featuring a wide range of sizes and mounting options – with left, right, centre and double bowl – the basins are complemented by IFO basin frames, chrome microtrap and attractive shrouds for Cera 600, Sign 770 and Sign 900 models.

Mr Oustrup says the IFO range is designed in accord with resident, patient and employee safety and comfort, providing a respectful and comfortable environment and with their reverse wash bowl design they uniquely offer substantially more layoff space compared to conventional designs.

“These are top quality products offering outstanding whole-of-life value. The solutions represented by IFO complement perfectly the enduring value and consistent functionality of health and age care products from Enware, which supports the IFO range with its outstanding distribution and proven expertise,” said Mr Oustrup.

Environmentally friendly IFO products are accredited to ISO 14001:2004, the internationally acknowledged environmental standard, as well as being accredited to Australian Standards and WELS water efficiency ratings.
