Caredesign, a division of Enware Australia Pty Limited, has had great success in creating understanding of its innovative range of adaptable work and living products at the recent display and seminars conducted at LifeTec Queensland in Brisbane.
“We’re looking forward to repeating this success at similar expositions in other states in the future,” said Sandor Franken, Business Development Manager for Caredesign.
The company’s displays at LifeTec showed, in full operational mode, the latest developments in providing solutions for people requiring support in both the home and workplace.
“Improvements in assistance technologies have greatly advanced the ability for people with a disability to maintain their autonomy and independence,” Mr Franken said.
Caredesign also staged seminars at LifeTec to demonstrate the opportunities these solutions provide. Topics covered included adjustable kitchen innovations and solutions and flexible bathroom and showering solutions.
“The feedback and interaction throughout the 4 weeks were fantastic, as many of the attendees didn’t know that products such as height adjustable mechanisms were available, not to mention providing solutions for difficult environments” said Kim Johnstone, National Account Manager for Caredesign. “Some of the environments or areas of use include rehabilitation wards in hospital, special schools and private or group residences,” she added.
The display and seminars included a useful checklist of the key considerations when planning and installing independent living equipment.
