Enware introduces the first thermostatic mixing valve for solar water heating systems

|
|
Enware Australia has introduced Australia’s first thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) designed specifically for solar water heating systems in commercial, industrial and domestic applications.
The Aquablend 1500-Solar TMV is the solar rated version of Australia’s leading healthcare-specified TMV, the Aquablend 1500. It is specially designed for AS3500.4 requirements and the higher temperatures often generated by solar hot water systems.
The new valve complements the broad range of Australian-made Aquablend thermostatic mixing valves used to comply with anti-scald regulations and used extensively in hospitals, aged care institutions, childhood centres, day schools and other similar facilities.
Aquablend 1500-Solar TMV safely delivers to plus or minus 2 degrees Celsius under varying temperature and pressure conditions. Safety from scalding and shock is ensured by the thermal shut-off capabilities in the event of cold or hot water supply failure.
Enware’s Aquablend 1500-Solar TMV is Australia’s first watermark certified solar-rated TMV. It is also Australia’s first solar rated TMV solution for AS/NZS3500.4 Sections 1.9.2 and 1.9.3
