Safe-Equip drive-in berms put real sting into safe portable spill containment 

Drive-in/drive out spill prevention and containment berms from Enware Safe-Equip are constructed for rapid deployment in applications involving hazardous fuels, chemicals and liquids.

The tough, portable and easily assembled Stinger Snap Foam Berms™ allow for one-time setup then continual drive in/drive out use without ever having to set down the end sidewalls.

Available in a standard 3 metres wide and 7.9 metres long size with a sump capacity of 7358 litres - with different sizes available on request – the berms’ end sidewalls design incorporates high strength connectors and a two-way air relief system that facilitates automatic entry-exit without assistance. 

The easily erected system, weighing just 53 kg is part of a Safe-Equip portable containment range also including Stinger Berms™  for hydrocarbon immediate spill response and Stinger Yellow Jacket™ portable lightweight pallets for chemical spill prevention.

The range complies with some of the world’s most demanding standards for handling, storage and transporting of hazardous materials, including US EPA standards. It is suitable for applications such as chemical drum storage, chemical transfers, disposal of hazardous waste, vehicle maintenance and oil spill cleanups.

The Stinger berm range includes containment berms for use beneath equipment left overnight containing fuel such as: small fuel tanks; generators with fuel tanks; and for temproary drum storage.  Features of the 3.05m (L) x 7.92m (W) X 30cm (H) Stinger Snap-foam Berm include:

•  Foam end caps that form a two-way air relief system to snap end sidewalls back automatically to their upright position
•  Fuel/chemical resistant containment area with custom sizes and special materials available
•  Air lance tested containment welds for maximum performance. Lap joint welds for maximum strength.
• Optional ground pad for enhanced underside protection against truck wheels and rough terrain and Tracmat for protection inside the berm against t frequent vehicle use
• Optional filtration systems including Bazooka Filtration System® that captures contaminants allowing clean water to pass.

Complementary Storm Sentinel erosion control products protect drains that can carry run-off and may contaminate surface water.
