Professional Standard Swine Flu Protection Pack Introduced by Enware

Safety and hygiene equipment specialist Enware Australia has produced a Household Protection Pack to help householders and businesses guard against swine flu.

The pack – available individually through supermarkets and in bulk through Enware –has a shelf life of up to two years from the date of manufacture to provide families, businesses and individuals with protection as the global flu runs its course in Australasia and internationally.

The World Health Organisation in June raised its swine flu alert to the highest level, declaring the first global influenza pandemic in 40 years.

Suitable also for use in emergencies such as bushfire, cyclone, flood, storms, earthquake and energy utility failure, Enware’s protection pack contents include:

• 10 disposable three-ply Zeomed protective masks that provide protection to a surgical standard of 99.9 per cent Bacteria Filtration Efficiency (BFE) at three microns. Fitting and use instructions are provided for the masks, one size of which fits all and which can be moulded to the bridge of the nose. The masks comply with EN14683:3005 standard for BFE
•  Complementary Zeomed hospital-grade hard surface disinfecting wipes which kill germs including MRSA and VRE types (respectively Methicilin Resistant Staphyloccocus Aureus and Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus).
•  Emergency hygiene and household protection advice, including 14-day food storage brochure and guidance on preparing for an emergency.
