Optimum hygiene, reliability and ergonomic performance built into Enware’s Australian-made LEVA tapware series
Robust Australian-made lever shower and tapware ranges, designed for optimum hygiene and ergonomic performance in demanding applications, are being produced by Enware.
The LEVA 150 and LEVA 80 ranges – offering 150 and 80mm lever lengths – provide modern stylish design with visual cohesion throughout the facility and strong functionality in both bench and wall-mounted tapware.
The longer-levered LEVA 150, designed for hands-free operation, permits elbow lever-activation to help reduce the risk of cross-contamination. The range is particularly suitable for nurse and doctor wash stations.
Shorter-levered LEVA 80 tapware, offering easy palm and wrist-activation, gives enhanced control over the lever, which is particularly useful for arthritis sufferers. The range is particularly appropriate for patient ensuites, showers and staff kitchenettes.
Both ranges are highly reliable and durable, having been purpose-built for longevity. They incorporate a unique handle fixing, anti-rotating SBA (stuffing box assembly), anti-rocking bushes and lock nut, and are made from heavy duty dezincification- resistant brass for superior performance.
Both ranges also benefit from cost-efficient maintenance because of commonality of parts across the ranges, which means fewer parts are required for speedy service and installation.
Because the taps are custom-engineered in Australia for extended use, they not only last longer, but also backup including service, spare parts and system components are readily available from the national service network of Enware, which has been manufacturing commercial and specialist tapware since 1937 with extensive experience in hospital and health care applications.
“The local expertise and experience built into the Leva ranges means this easy-to-clean range delivers built-in durability with reliable performance for users and lower whole-of-life costs for facility operators,” says Enware, which, being a local manufacturer, can also offer shorter lead times to provide customized solutions where required.
For wheelchair and disability accessible applications, LEVA delivers the benefits of easier reach, operation and control, says Enware, which provides full service and support for its quality healthcare, disability and specialist ranges throughout Australasia.
