A stylish and contemporary grey Dania Pressalit Care toilet seat has been added to the Enware range of specialist interior products designed to maximise independence for people with disabilities.

The new shade – which meets the luminescence requirements of AS1428 – is the latest available for the ergonomically designed seat profile. Application of using a colour contrasting seat is best suited to accessible public toilets and en-suite environments within dementia & aged care facilities.

Compatibility of the Dania seat is such, that it can be fitted to any toilet pan, including Enware’s own IFO range of sanitary ware.

“This contemporary, soft and versatile shade further broadens the Dania range’s wide appeal to architects, specifiers and health care providers who are focusing on creating welcoming and non-institutional environments,” says Enware.

It joins the existing popular white and blue Dania seats, which are flat-shaped designs that enable easier sideways transfer by wheelchair users. The seat’s contoured lid is comfortable to sit on, and acts as a backrest when upright.

Features include:

  • Strong stainless steel hinges with hygienic design profiles
  • Easy to clean high-density Duroplast construction – scratch and burn resistant, providing added protection against bacterial cross contamination
  • Unique stability buffers that provide increased seat strength by reducing the pressure on the hinges, making the seat safer, particularly during wheelchair transfers and heavy use
  • Certification to a maximum weight capacity of 250kg
  • A 3-year guarantee
