Enware will be attending the upcoming ACCESS 2017, proudly hosted by Association of Consultants in Access Australia (ACAA), which will be held from 18 - 20 October 2017 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane, Queensland.
This years theme is wayfinding. The event offers delegates an opportunity to explore a city which is rich in accessible wayfinding experiences. The city is a showcase of cutting edge accessible wayfinding imagery and information from complete precincts with raised tactile and Braille Mapping. Many of its major buildings and streets are bursting with accessible wayfinding information that is signed in multiple languages, including Braille and shopping precincts providing talking and digital wayfinding options. Brisbane is the place to be to experience accessible wayfinding.
There will be a new Australian Standard on accessible wayfinding signage which ACAA and some of its members had lead roles in drafting.
The event will also take a close look at the up and coming Commonwealth Games and the legacy that its new and upgraded facilities will deliver to Queensland. The conference will be a buzz with discussions about the positive benefits of this significant international sporting event
