Enware has recently been involved in the restoration of the John A Dennis Heritage Fountain, a 100 year old heritage listed bubbler at the Williamstown Town Hall.
The Williamstown Town Hall which was built in 1926-27 has recently been undergoing refurbishment to bring parts of the building up to today’s more exacting standards and regulations.
Situated 15 minutes from the Melbourne CBD the town hall has a heritage fountain in their forecourt, the John A Dennis Heritage Fountain. The Town Hall was required to have it's existing bubblers replaced to meet compliance and code to allow any person with a disability easy access and use the drinking fountain. Council decided as a part of the refurbishment they would like to integrate a brass bubbler which would age naturally and further compliment the heritage fountain.
As you can see below the bubblers look fantastic in their new home.
Enware was chosen because of our long standing history of manufacturing bubblers and our proven record of supplying durable, functional and easy to use bubblers. We were able to supply a brass lever operated bubbler to meet the Disability Discrimination Act Compliance needs.
Other locations that our brass bubblers have been used to compliment heritage settings include The Royal Botanical Gardens, Hyde Park and Centennial Park in Sydney.
