What does it mean?

Packaging plays an important function in maintaining the integrity and safety of products to ensure they reach our customers with the same level of quality it had when despatched – Packaging solutions must consider sustainable packaging referring to the sourcing, development, and use of packaging solutions that have minimal environmental impact and footprint.

Our packaging goals:

  • Prioritise and maximise the use of recycled content
  • Reduce the amount of material used in packaging
  • Reduce unnecessary single-use plastic packaging
  • Engage with suppliers to use packaging solutions that have minimal environmental impact and align with our goals
  • Focus on optimising recovery and recycling of packaging

What have we achieved?

We are a member of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) and actively working towards complying with the national set targets by 2025.

We are pleased to share that we have achieved a 60% – Leading overall performance level to date (Ref. reporting period July, 2022 – June, 2023).
