Enware’s solution will consist of Hydrus 2.0 Ultrasonic cold-water meters and the meter reading solution outlined in this proposal. The HYDRUS On-Premises BMS Solution uses Hydrus radio water meters combined with RDC gateways, an on-premises server and our advanced Smart Flow Metering software enables BACnet IP BMS integration without the wiring required by wired M-Bus or wired pulse meters. The Hydrus meters use ultrasonic measuring technology and integrated communications, ensuring 100% data integrity. With no moving parts, there is no loss of accuracy throughout the lifespan of the meter due to mechanical ware. The built-in battery ensures 100% data integrity even during blackouts and IT outages along with eliminating the need for powering each meter individually. The meters wirelessly transmit industry standard wireless M-Bus OMS data packets that includes consumption data along with meter alarms including leakage, backflow, air in pipe, low battery etc. The meters are available in cold water DN 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 80, 100, 150, 200 and hot water: DN 15, 20, 25, 32, 40. Our entire meter range is WaterMarked and Hydrus is the only meter with a full range of WaterMarked hot water meters. The RDC gateways will be installed strategically throughout the building by Enware to pick up all the Hydrus meters on site, the meters connect to the LAN network to be able to communicate back to the server. The metering server can be either physical or a VM that we install our Smart flow Metering software on to decrypt and decode the meter packets. A web-based interface enables billing along with advanced meter analytics to allow the facility operator to understand their water consumption along with meeting Green Star requirements. The server also hosts the BACnet IP interface to connect to almost any BMS.
